Our
Mission
It takes a village.
At Peninsula Plus, we believe real support is built through community — where parents, educators, carers, and professionals come together to help people thrive.
Pen Plus Village brings this vision to life through inclusive education, meaningful connection, and compassionate care.
Our
Vision
A connected community where learning empowers and care transforms.
We envision a world where families, educators, and professionals walk alongside neurodivergent individuals — united by shared wisdom, inclusive education, and compassionate connection.
Pen Plus Village isn’t just a platform — it’s a movement toward greater understanding, equity, and belonging for everyone in the village.
Our
Why
Pen Plus Village exists because learning is better when it’s shared.
At Peninsula Plus, we’ve seen first-hand how powerful it can be when families, educators, support workers, and health professionals come together — not just to support others, but to keep learning, growing, and connecting themselves.
That’s why we created Pen Plus Village: a space where connection drives education, and knowledge becomes something we build and carry together.
Here, you’ll find accessible, evidence-informed learning designed to fit real lives — from self-paced courses to global online events. Whether you’re a parent looking for everyday strategies, an educator building more inclusive classrooms, or a professional deepening your practice, our goal is to empower you with the tools and confidence to make a meaningful difference.
This is your place to grow your understanding, feel supported, and walk alongside others who care about doing things differently.
Because in this Village, no one learns alone.
The People Behind the Village
Pen Plus Village is powered by the hearts, minds, and lived experience of the Peninsula Plus team — a collective of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, educators, support workers, and families who believe that learning should be inclusive, practical, and deeply human.
We bring together clinical expertise, educational insight, and real-world parenting experience to create content that feels relevant and respectful. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all answers — we believe in shared learning, reflective practice, and supporting people to make informed decisions in the context of their own lives.
As a team, we’re committed to neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches — not just in the resources we share, but in how we work together and with our community.
We’re learners, too — and proud to be building a space where people can show up as they are, ask big questions, and grow together.
We believe knowledge is most powerful when it’s accessible, practical, and rooted in empathy. Our learning experiences are designed to give people tools they can use to create meaningful change in their lives and communities.
Whether it’s through our events, resources, or community, everything we do is grounded in connection — not checklists. We foster spaces where people feel heard, respected, and supported in their unique journey.
Our content is created with neurodivergent individuals and diverse communities in mind. We honour lived experience and strive to reflect a wide range of perspectives in the voices we platform and the resources we share.
Learning is lifelong. We champion curiosity and reflection, inviting our community to keep asking questions, evolving their thinking, and deepening their understanding — together.
We draw on research, clinical knowledge, and lived expertise to create content that’s relevant and reliable. But more than that, we prioritise the human experience at the heart of every topic.
